Receiving signups from your tools
The other direction: your tools send us a signup, and we issue the card. This is how a HighLevel funnel, a Zapier zap, a website form or a Meta lead ad becomes a member with a card in their wallet, without the guest filling in a second form.
How it's set up
An intake source is created for you by the Diner On Demand team, with a private address and a secret key for your tool to use. Tell us:
- which tool is sending (HighLevel, Zapier, Make, a custom form),
- which card new signups should get,
- for a multi-location brand, whether the source belongs to one location.
What to send
At minimum a phone number and a first name. Email, last name and a location help but aren't required. Field names from HighLevel and Zapier are recognised automatically.
What happens next
- The card is created and the member appears in Customers.
- If texting is on, the guest receives the card link by text within seconds, then directions and a review request as they install and visit. See How card delivery texts work.
- The signup counts toward New members on your Overview, under the location the source belongs to.
A signup from the same phone number within a few minutes is treated as a duplicate and ignored, so a double-submitted form doesn't create two cards.
