Time zones by location

Every location keeps its own clock. A visit is counted in the time zone of the store where it was scanned, so a brand with stores in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver sees each store's real hours.

What follows each store's time zone

  • Days and months. A visit at 11 pm in Vancouver counts on that day in Vancouver, not the next day in Toronto. "This month" starts at each store's own midnight.
  • Dayparts. The "When guests walk in" table puts a 9 am visit in Calgary in the morning. The label says "store time (Mountain)" when every store in view shares a zone, and "each store's own time" when they differ.
  • Repeat visits and your coach's notes. Two visits on the same local day count as one visit day.
  • Reports. Each location's numbers use its own clock, and the header says so.
  • Texts. Directions and review requests wait out the quiet hours in the guest's store's time zone.

Setting it

Each location is set to the brand's time zone unless it's given its own. When you open a store in a new province or state, email support@dinerondemand.com or ask your account manager, and we'll set its time zone. Past visits regroup on their own; nothing is lost.
